DaytonPhish Maybe later I'll get around to writing an eloquent rant about the RIAA or any other organization which through intention or not homogenizes what we listen to while taking complete advantage of the artists they so valiantly claim to represent. Instead, for now, I'll share my enjoyment for the jamband scene which, through its very core, is built to be survivable without any outside untold cross-marketing scheme. In fact, in a lot of ways, the Linux and jamband communities have much in common in fostering open access as well as a strong community base. It's suprising that you don't hear about these more.

But anyway, its really just about the music that I happen to like. I try to check out phish or moe. whenever they swing by the vicinity or if I track them down somewhere. Otherwise, a good music festival can always be a good time, especially when its in your hometown.
